Girl Conceived

Girl Conceived is a frank and outspoken product of artificial insemination by an anonymous donor. She is also a technology consultant with over 10 years experience in the public and private sectors in the US, Europe and Asia, as well as an expert on reproductive technology issues. Sometimes poignant, sometimes funny she aims to include a too often forgotten narrative in the discussion of infertility and anonymous donation: the children. And no, she doesn't actually look like the Judy Jetson version of a female sperm. Her extended family isn't aware of the nature of conception (as is often the case with anonymous sperm donation) so she has concealed her identity to avoid a family meltdown rivaling the last world war. But more seriously, Girl Conceived is the voice of all the donor offspring and adoptees out there unable to speak freely.
