Jim Blockey

Jim Blockey is noteworthy stands up for what he believes in no matter the pain it may cause him. He wrote a controversial book called “Teacher’s It Ain’t Your Fault” exposing the dirty little secrets of the administration and leaders in education that led to his dismissal; however he fought back and won and is back teaching again. As a Christian, he follows God and lives a humble life. And as a contributing person of society, Jim is a Conservative that believes in the values and morals our Founding Father’s put in place to protect us and make America great. His solutions to the problems that face education today are unrivaled. Jim is an "achiever", he founded a local chapter of the Christian Educators Association, an alternative for teachers to the NEA. He has been a teacher in the Clark County School District for over 20 years, dealing with the most problematic and challenging students. He ran for congress in 1998 & 2000 to try to be the conservative voice that would help bring America BACK to its roots. Jim was on the Executive Board of Nevada Concerned Citizens, a local Conservative group. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a High School Sports Official from 1981 to 2007.
