Janet Lee Montera, Author A prolific writer, albeit my works have yet to appear on the New York Times Best Seller List... I dream they will. Like other writers, my love is for the creative, for the characters, for the words that come from another dimension and the finale. There is genuine gratification when a piece is finished; no matter its length or its world-wide draw. A project begins as an inspired blueprint and ends as hard work. Current blueprint: "THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE" (previous "The Wedding Garden"). A native Coloradoan and Manager of JLM’s Garden, LLC. My career: Stenographer with the FBI in Denver, Secretary with the Atomic Energy Commission in Idaho Falls, Idaho and Administrative Professional at Colorado State University. I love music, tradition, reading, to think and plan and to cry tears of joy and sorrow. Most of all, I love all phases of writing from thought to character to constant changes to realization. The act of writing is an isolated experience. Yet, at some point the realization must escape seclusion to access the peoples of the world. It is for this reason writers write.
