Randy Koch was born in Wyandotte, Michigan in 1961, graduated Chelsea High School in 1979 and shortly thereafter joined the United States Air Force. He then pursued his mechanical engineering degree at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. During this time Randy met his wife Beth. They have been married twenty-seven years and now live on Clear Lake in Southern Michigan. He has four children and three grandchildren. In 1987, Randy Koch started 4-Seasons heating and air conditioning Inc.and actively manages it to this day. His hobbies include writing, design engineering, business, and water-skiing. Randy has designed many recent energy efficient devices including a Toroidal internal combustion engine and a High Velocity heat exchanger.
