Samantha ThierryDateline: The daily life of a college runner
I'm a collegiate runner documenting my daily life. I've been running since my freshman year of high school but got diagnosed with Compartment Syndrome in my legs my senior year and had to have surgery on both legs while having to relearn how to use my legs in recovery. Basically never ran well in high school because of leg pain but now I'm recovered and ready to continue to work hard and get faster. I went from not able to run a mile because of my compartment syndrome to completing a half marathon in 1 hour 45 minutes without even racing it. I love running and am also majoring in Dietetics and hope to become a registered dietitian, especially for athletes.
