I am passionate about caring for the Earth and nurturing my family on our suburban homestead. I enjoy gardening, hiking, camping, quilting, cooking, baking, canning, preserving food, selling at our local farmer's market, foraging, wildcrafting, keeping chickens, renewable energy, parenting, rock-hounding, exploring, writing, reading, learning and growing. I have three kids; an 11 year old step-son, a 5 year old daughter, and a 6 month old son. In my spare time I am a wife, freelance writer and editorial assistant, math tutor/mentor and non-traditional college student double majoring in environmental science and physical science/mathematics.
