America Wants Work—But Who Cares?

Obama is to propose $300 billion tomorrow, to jump-start jobs—how enthusiastic are you about this earth shaking suggestion?
Too little, too late. For me, it is too puny to get my adrenals rushing. He spent $700 billion (officially, unofficial figures run much higher) to save his Wall Street buddies. All they did with that money was gamble in stocks and commodities, and run prices of all necessities through the roof, and in the process fatten their pockets at the cost of the common Americans. Now he proposes $300 billion for Main Street! By the time he is done bargaining with the Tea Party terrorists, that amount will likely become $30 billion—an infinitesimal amount given the magnitude of the dire state the nation is in.
A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll places Barack Obama at the lowest point of his presidency, his approval rating is at 44 percent, and only 37 percent think his handling of the economy deserves respect, while only 19 percent believe the country is headed in the right direction. Well done President, you must rip what you sowed—you must pay for the total disdain that you showed to your base!
With tongue-in-chick I say I am done with Obama, and my mantra is, just as it was in 2004, ABB, the only difference is, this time I mean ‘Anybody But Barack’—the tongue-in-chick is just in the event Rick Perry wins GOP election, in which case I will have no alternative but to vote for Obama. Just as his onetime advisor Rahm Emanuel had arrogantly stated, ‘the left has nowhere else to go’— nowhere?
But who cares if I vote or not, does it matter? Since 2000, electorate means little, as Bush was selected President by five kings, known as the US supreme court judges. When Alex Jones came up with his movie, The Obama Deception the progressives called it a right wing propaganda. It is not important who is right on this, what important is, as Damon R.-W wrote in RiseUpRochester, on March 15, 2009:
