Today we have crony capitalism running amok. Instead of being managed for the benefit of shareholders, corporations are paying truly outrageous compensation Some “earning” in an hour more than the median income of working Americans. To save you time “Compensation for the chief executives of America’s biggest corporations is way up in 2011, 28% higher than last year on average, according to GovernanceMetrics International.” From Forbes above. How much did your pay rise last year? Bankster Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase, who comes in 12th at $42 million, assuming a 2000 hour year that is $21,000/hour. Higher up the foo heap “earnings” soar to over $48,000 per hour. Median Worker about $43000 in a Year. Remember median means there are as many making less as they are that make more.

The studies documenting social cost of the concentration of wealth in the hands of the few abound See for example the collection at jrf.org.

But oh What to do!

Unite!

Take this to every legislative body in our land, OCCUPY THEM, Don’t Leave until this is law in every state and in the United States.
