Dark Musings from a Diseased Brain
I'm going to use three words on this column that are going to get a lot of people really angry with me. Those three words are...
It's not that I'm heartless. It's not that I have no feelings. It's not that I don't agree with your view point. It's just that I don't care.
It's not that I think we could make this a much better place for all of us. It's just that...
You get my point.
Steve Jobs died yesterday. And that's sad. All day long I've been reading (on my iMac, no less) one weepy, tear-stained homage after the other to this man who made a great deal of money creating products and making people who want them spend a great deal of money on them.
No doubt Steve Jobs was a positive influence on American technology. No doubt Steve Jobs added at least as much to the world as he took out of it. But I didn't cry when I heard he had passed. If anything, I'm glad his suffering is over. But I didn't know the man. All the money I've given him over the years, did I ever even get so much as a Christmas card? So, as sad as it is when ANYONE dies before his time...
I really just don't care.

The American al Qaeda asshole that the left wing is whining about. Dude... get over it. It's not like Presidents haven't been ordering people killed since there were Presidents... and people! This president was just more honest about it. And excuse me if I don't get worked up into an outraged foamy, spit-flecking SCREED over an AMERICAN CITIZEN not being PROPERLY MIRANDIZED before the drone missile blew him into little tiny al Qaeda chunks. I figure if you go to Yemen, recruit people to kill Americans, exhort extremists into becoming suicide bombers, etc., "due process of law" doesn't APPLY to you.
