Depardieu Leaves Socialist France
Famous French actor Gerard Depardieu decided to give up his French citizenship and move to Belgium for a permanent residence. Artist made this decision after the criticism from the Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, who called his leaving as “unpatriotic” act.
Gerard Depardieu told the press today that gives up his passport and social security card after the head of government chided the artist that he decided to move to a permanent place of residence in Belgium to escape the high taxes.
Since January 2013, the rich French people, who earn more than a million Euros a year, will have to give the state three-quarters of their revenue.
Prime Minister’s words offended the maestro of French cinema to the core. He recalled that he worked in his homeland for 14 years and in general paid taxes for 150 million Euros.
"We no longer have the same homeland. I'm a true European, a citizen of the world," said Depardieu in a statement. "I am leaving because you believe that success, creation, talent, anything different must be sanctioned." he continued
Socialist government led by President Hollande is acting just like socialists of the third world countries. It operates by the principle "to take everything and divide". Socialists do not care the worth of contribution to the country of a concrete citizen.
There is no doubt that the contribution of Depardieu far higher than the contribution of thousands of immigrants who live on welfare. Their free welfare is often can be compared with the average salary of French citizens. However, many immigrants are not even looking for a job! But why? Why do they need to look for something, if the government still pays very well?!
The French President also forgets that some immigrants not only do not work but also ask for specific attitude. They do not respect and will not respect the European civilization, its values and culture. But they very actively impose their own. It is sad that the president of one of the countries with the greatest history and traditions does not seek to protect the interests of its real citizens.
