Donald Trump has hinted that he may be running for president. In his most recent speech to attempt to appeal to the conservative community, the outspoken businessman didn't seem to care about offending anyone- not even our current president!

“I like Ron Paul, I think he's a good guy but honestly he just has zero chance of getting elected,” he stated at the annual CPAC conference in Washington, D.C. Then, undeterred, he goes on:

“If I run and if I win, this country will be respected again. I can tell you that...The United States has become a whipping post for the rest of the world. The world is treating us without respect — they are not treating us properly...I’m pro-life. I’m against gun control, and I will fight to end Obamacare and replace it with something that makes sense for people in business and not bankrupt the country. I’ve always been told that a person of great accomplishment or achievement cannot become a politician or run for political office. That is the kind of person that the country needs and we need it now. This country is in serious trouble.”

Humble now, aren't we?

He was very critical of Barack Obama's policies and, by June, we will know if Mr. Trump will decide to run or not. Quite frankly, I would love to see it happen! He claims to have as much experience as Obama, if not more, and the delightfully arrogant businessman will get what he wants.

So, why is he running for president — or, at least, considering it? His answer was as straight-forward and to the point as he is: "America is becoming the laughingstock of the world."

"I'm well acquainted with winning," Trump stated. "That's what this country needs now."

So, why wouldn't he run? His poll numbers aren't the best — you either love him or hate him. Similar to Palin, he rubs a lot of people the wrong way. He has also donated a lot of money to the Democratic Party. I, personally, feel that Palin should have stayed in Alaska and not been a vice presidential nominee. As much as I would like to see a woman in power, I do not want to see one who isn't as qualified as her male counterparts. Personally, I would love to see someone like Condoleeza Rice run.
