On Thursday, the members of the Westboro Baptist Church protested at the funeral of former Italian-American Vice Presidential Candidate, Geraldine Ferraro. From here, things continue to get both more disturbing and disgusting. The Twitter photos of their "God H8S" Campaign are truly sadistic and disgusting. They teach hate to their children. A close friend of mine in the Army, Private First Class Alexan Sukta will be deploying to Korea this summer. When asked, he had this to say about the infamous members of the Westboro Baptist Church:

They mock the deaths of those who gave them the right to protest. They cause pain to the deceased's loved ones. They mock me and my comrades...Of course, it's a constitutional right, but I also believe that they should be limited and restricted as to how they can slander and verbally assault the innocent because that's all they do."

When asked if there was anything he would like to add, he gave a pretty classy response: "Nothing that you would ever be allowed to write."

Another good friend of mine, Ben Mule, is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Ben is about to serve his third deployment: Iraq in 2009; Marjah, Afghanistan, in January 2010; and he will be deploying again to Afghanistan in June of 2011. When asked about how he felt about the Westboro Baptist Church, he shared similar sentiments to Private First Class Sukta:
