Let's Reread the Monroe Doctrine

It seems to be no wonder that the air-waves and the newsprint and the digital information complex was essentially inundated by videos of Japan and Libya. How could it be different, both of these are life altering events for the global economy and the humanity that exists under its rule.

As I think about the events, I am astonished that Japan could react so calmly over such a devastating event and that the Republicans who are looking to throw their hats into the ring for the next Presidential race sound so chaotic and angry and even revengeful.

My thoughts about the world are becoming more myopic with time. The Global economy will need so many more surfs that even medieval Lords needed. In order to keep the wealth concentrated in the hands of the few, more of humanity will have to have shoulders on which these titans of economy will stand. Essentially that means me and you. For the most part I doubt that any billionaire would be reading my interpretations of a week in our modern world.
I still can not imagine what the Prime Minister of Japan was thinking when he told people near the exploding nuclear reactors to shut the windows and not take in clothes from clothes line where laundry might have been hung to dry. Has he looked around. Seriously, there is nothing there--nothing.

And what could be more newsworthy of a week in review that America taking the lead in yet another pre-emptive war against an Arab nation. If there was a league of Arab nations that went along with the United Nations recent dictate; why, on Gods' earth did they not lead it. The idea of we being once more the police for the globe while we are unable to dig out from our own tsunami of economic downturn, is absolutely absurd, or we know exactly what and why we do what we do and to talk about it would only sound like conspiracy theory.
