While you thought our military was now on the down low status, The State of Our Union is re-firing up its arsenal for battle; a continuing battle for reinvention in Washington. Politics have always been about scratching backs and never really knowing who you can trust...I mean really trust. But now, the game is changing.

The good 'ole boys club better look out because the prez has got his pumped up kicks on and has a whole new generation of dreamers and visionaries behind him.

The Barak Obama that we saw in 2008 that tried to charge forward with "change that we can believe in" is ready to keep pressing forward in a battle for a mission with common resolve. Congress needs to get ready to ride the new wave of the future. Just as the Silicon Valley visionaries road that same wave by thinking differently and going against the grain to find a new way of getting the job done, Obama is challenging our congress to do the same.

Obama is the new gladiator trying to teach our old school government 21st century skills. His is pressing on with a "Rise or fall" as one unit serving one nation, leaving no one behind" attitude. It's time for change. Change takes time. Timing is everything.

What did Obama walk into when he was elected? Hell. He walked in to a living night mare. We all know this. We are all living it in one way or another. Don't let "the boys" bamboozle you like Tom Sawyer did.  What President Obama faced was near impossible to walk away from looking like a hero or even like someone who did what he set out to do in just 4 years.

But now...The State of Our Union is recovering and is ready for real change..."change we can believe in". Change we can build upon.

Our countries new expectation is that EVERYONE plays by the same rules, that EVERYONE plays fair.

President Obama gets "it". He sees the need for reinvention of our country just as the visionaries of The Valley did and continue to do.

Imagine reinventing our unemployment system that would retrain a coalition of unqualified, now irrelevant workers for a new generation of jobs. Whether you call our new Generation G, the Google Generation or the Generosity Generation, the common mission is against old school greed and ways of doing business. Reinvention is a must for our country's Generation G and its current unemployed generation.
