The second allegation the Mormons counter is "No Gays allowed (current)." The church dismisses this, saying "there are many faithful gay members of the Church today." The evasion is subtle, but obvious to a Mormon. The key to this coded language is the term "faithful," connoting that gays are tolerated but strictly forbidden any homosexual relationship.

The church conceals this in their rhetoric - Mormons accept gays only if they are abstinent. LGBT relationships, if not abandoned, lead to excommunication. In other words, many abstinent, "faithful" gay members exist, but none can have sexual relations, unless they go straight.

The Mormons are expert in defensive jabs, and many other truths remain concealed behind ambiguous language. Yet, the democrats and the media seem uninterested in the issues. Mr. Romney is not just a member of the church, as was the case with Obama and Reverend white. Mr. Romney was the Mormon equivalent of a reverend or priest: a bishop.

Further, Romney remains one because, in the Mormon church, no one ever loses the title of bishop. With Romney so exposed, the media silence is stunning. The election is a fight, not a polite dance. The future of our nation stands in the balance.
