Subject: Ben, Sad to see you won't post a comment by me. I purposefully picked a post that doesn't include The Sutton family issue. I want to be fair so if you can fill me in, on or off the record, I will respect that. Just so you know, it obviously has everything to do with the Jewish community and Obama. There is a long list of writers who have been wondering for over a year when you were going to address this. As you know, Warden confirmed to Kenneth Timmerman that he did ask Mr. Sutton to write the letter for President Obama. If I've missed anything, or have anything wrong, I am all ears.
This was the note I sent Ben Smith over a week ago when I noticed the Smith Spin on a yet another story about the Jewish vote and Obama.
As a Jew who has moved to the right, I spend a good deal of time uncovering anti-Jewish websites. I assume most reporters of good conscience in this country would be as sickened as I am by the volume of hate I find on a daily basis. But then most reporters of good conscience in this country have yet to connect the dots between Hitler's Final Solution and, say, the Hamas refusal to recognize Israel's right to exist. I decided to give Ben Smith the benefit of the doubt and ask for an explanation before I continued my journey to get to the bottom of this.
