Romney Hints Obama Bribed His Way To White House
Even in defeat Romney remains bitter. Nearly two weeks after his defeat, he cannot come to terms and get over his loss. Talking to his top donors, Mitt Romney told on Wednesday that his November 6 defeat to President Obama was “a disappointing result that neither he nor his top aides had expected.” In his mind Obama’s victory was due to “the gifts” the administration had given to blacks, Hispanics and young voters during the president’s first term.
Romney said that Obama was “very generous” to blacks, Hispanics and young voters, and cited as the motivating factors for those groups of people to vote for him. In his words, “The president’s campaign focused on giving targeted groups a big gift — so he made a big effort on small things. Those small things, by the way, add up to trillions of dollars.”
Thanks God there was at least one sane voice in the GOP camp. Bobby Jindal, the Louisiana Governor said, “I think that’s absolutely wrong. We have got to stop dividing the American voters. We need to go after 100 percent of the votes, not 53 percent (obvious reference to Romney’s 47% comment). We need to go after every single vote. ... So I absolutely reject that notion, that description. I think it’s absolutely wrong. I don't think that represents where we are as a party, where we're going as a party. That has got to be one of the most fundamental takeaways from this election.”
Well, born into nobility, Romney cannot stand defeat at the hand of a black man. After all he had the chutzpah to cut off the President of the United States with a rude interjection, “I’m still speaking.”
I’ll take this diatribe of Romney as the outburst of a sore loser and not the opinion of majority Republicans.
