It is not known at this time what offensive entails, but I wonder how a liberal-minded individual who keeps his (or her) comments even low-key would fair in Tea Party Community's environment.

According to the site, their member rolls stand around 50,000 strong. While other networks like Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus are used for a growing number of reasons as varied as its over a billion combined membership, the Tea Party Community appears to have been created with a singular focus: winning elections.

“This helps us begin the organizational process of the Tea Party movement,” Crow told Fox News. “We’ve been a little too disorganized. It cost us the election in 2012. We’ve all agreed – never again.”

I suppose this means fewer food photos?

As you can see from the image of the Tea Party Community's pre-login page at the beginning of this story, Crow and his business partners have patterned their site's look and feel after Facebook. “That was intentional,” Crow told Fox News, when asked about the striking similarities. “We didn’t want there to be a learning curve for the new members.”

You can “friend” people and “like” status updates on Tea Party Community - another feature copy from Facebook. You can also join user-created "Pages".

Although it's been said that imitation is the highest form of flattery, only time will tell how the choice to mimic Facebook will fly with the multi-billion dollar social giant's deep pocketed legal department.

Oddly, a passage shared by countless conservatives on Facebook last year is part and parcel to the Tea Party Community's privacy policy:

PRIVACY NOTICE: Warning - any person and/or institution and/or Agent and/or Agency of any world-wide governmental structure including but not limited to the United States Federal Government also using or monitoring/using this website or any of its associated websites, you do NOT have my permission to utilize any of the profile information nor any of the content contained herein including, but not limited to photos, and/or the comments made about my photos or any other "picture" art posted on our profiles.
