The Twitter War Continues

I honestly thought my Twitter Twoubles with this Tweeting Twerp of a Mets Fan were filed under "mission accomplished". I was wrong.
If you read my last post, "Another Reason to Hate the Mets?", you saw I had this little Twitter kerfuffle with someone calling himself "@TopTrainer76" — you can check the previous post for the backstory.
Well, after the story went live here on Technorati, I received the following Tweets.

OK, so the dude wishes I had been killed in the military. Then this.

OK, so now he wants to beat me up. I responded.

Internet bullies don't worry me. If he showed up at my door, I would employ the ancient Nepalese Martial Art of "Kung Poo", curl into a ball, defecate copiously and scream like a howler monkey until he got disgusted and left. But he doesn't know that.
He responded in true Alpha Male Idiot fashion.

Now by this time, I had received an e-mail from the webmaster at Metsmirized Online. He was bewildered by all this.
He wrote, in part...
I am not associated with the Mets in anyway. I started and run a simple Mets fansite like hundreds of other Mets fansites. Just so you understan, none of the sports blogs you see are run or affiliated with any of the teams they blog about. You will see that in our disclaimer and theirs.
I'm not into politics, and Adam is one of 30 or so avid Mets fans who submit posts about the Mets to our site.
I was repulsed by the conversation you wanted me to look at and wished I didn't have to see that and hope no children or minors have seen it. I dont know how a persons politics can ever get to a dialog like that, but thankfuly I've never really been interested in the topic.
I responded by explaining that since THIS was on his website...

And that since in his columns and on his staff writer listing, he was inviting folks to follow his Twitter feed, it was a natural inference. Folks would associate whatever he writes on Twitter with the website and with the Mets.
The webmaster wrote further, in part...
Thank you for replying back to me.
I am very upset the more I think about this.
I am very angry with him. I spoke with my friend who first encouraged me to start a blog when I had to stop working, and he says we shouldn't let him post on the site.
She has never steered me wrong before.
I've already removed him from out staff page where we list all our recent contributors, and after a cooling off period, I will write him in the morning.
My uncle who was like a father to me suffered from Parkinson's Disease and passed away two years ago from bladder cancer.
I have to do this for him.
