With conclusion of the Republican convention at Florida one thing has become clear; they will twist facts, interject lies and mold the truth to construct their own narratives to sway mass opinions for their own advantage.
They have scant respect for principle or morality. Speaker after speaker in the convention invented their own “truth” to smear the current administration. Listening to them it appeared that Barack Obama had been a failure because he lacked vision, or courage, while the reality is the republicans are a party of no since Obama became President. They used their ability to maneuver the archaic Senate filibuster rule long before they wrested control of the House, courtesy of Koch brothers and company. And once they dethroned Speaker Nancy Pelosi in 2010, all they did in the House was blocking every initiative Obama proposed. Unless Democrats win majority both in the House and Senate in November 2012, President Obama would be unable to achieve any significant reform even if he wins the presidency for the second time.
The coming November election will have very significant consequence in shaping the nation’s history. What is going on now is not class war—far more than that—it is war between two contrasting philosophies. On one side there are Republicans, proponents of Me-society who wants the spoils of the earth only for themselves. They are small in number but powerful and united. Wrapped in religion, nationalism, and all kinds of false flags, they are merciless in their mission to win it for them. They have hoarded a great amount of wealth, and they wield great political influence. They are selfish, egotistic and full of vain glory. Just take Paul Ryan, he wants to dismantle social security but he himself took social security money to get through college. And his idol Ayn Rand who created libertarian philosophy where each one was supposed to be on his own, and where state was not supposed to provide any safety net, survived on government charity in her last few years—this is the hypocrisy of the self-claimed conservatives!
