BritBlog Roundup 168: Is Boris good enough?
http://liberalengland.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ britblog-roundup-167-is-boris-good.ht...
This week's nominations were dominated by the local elections, and the London Mayoral election in particular. So with thanks to NewsBiscuit for the photograph, let's get on with it. Those elections in full First a mention for the three bloggers who were featured on the BBC election coverage: Luke Akehurst, Iain Dale and Alix Mortimer. They all did a much better job than Jeremy Vine or David bloody Dimbleby. And also a mention to Andy D'Agorne for recognising that the elections did not just take place in London. He went to Sheffield and saw strange goings on involving postal votes and taxis.

Britblog roundup 168
http://susannelamido.blogspot.com/2008/05/britblog-roundup-1...For those who follow the weekly Britblog roundup. This week it's hosted by Jonathan Calder Was supposed to be my slot but we swapped dates. One of the best roundups I've see written for a long time. Well he is one of those smart literary bods who can write reams without batting an eyelid so it's hardly a surprise. As he says This week's nominations were dominated by the local elections, and the London Mayoral election in particular. Very true but there is lot of other interesting stuff as well. To add a bit of fun to his heading Is Boris Good enough is the funny pic of Boris Johnson who he pens a thanks to NewsBiscuit for. Next week's Roundup will be at Redemption Blues. And you can find the rota for future weeks here. As ever, please send your nominations to britblog [at] gmail [dot] com.

Britblog round up Boris Special can be found here, and has some corkers, especially Diamond Geezer's imagined first edition of the Londoner newsletter.
