Well, well, Tom Welling…. May 2 He done good last night, no? How does one go about directing himself? I’m no Steven Spielberg, but as far as I could tell, Tom did a darn good job of doing exactly that in last night’s episode, especially since he was in so many of the scenes. Perhaps we have another Ron Howard on our hands: from Opie Cunningham (as Eddie Murphy called him on “SNL”) to a big-time director? The romantic tension between Clark and Lois was so strong during the part of last night’s show when Jor-El had sent him to Earth during a time when he had never been born.
