This is an e-mail interview with i-day, founder of the oneLoop netlabel. oneLoop concentrates on releasing the work of independent electronica artists, and supporting indietronica movement. Could you tell me a few words about yourself. Who are you? Where do you come from? My friends call me i-day, now I’am living in Surabaya – East Java, Indonesia. I do web design and development for a living, and create music or videoart in my free time. Why did you decide to open your own netlabel? It’s triggered by the idea to create a music sharing platform, a place for talented bedroom/PC/laptop musicians to spread their works, who weren’t getting the attention they deserved in Indonesian music industry.
