Sunburns and Pregnancy
http://thehealthymoms.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ sunburns-and-pregnancy.html
Sunburns and Pregnancy Now that spring is here and summer is just around the corner I want to share the importance of taking care of your skin when you are pregnant. Sunscreen helps protect your skin from UV rays and can prevent skin cancer. If a pregnant woman gets a sunburn it can cause blotches on the skin, called Chloasma. This is also refered to the "mask of pregnancy" because it gives some women brown marks around their eyes, nose and cheeks. Spending time in the sun can cause this condition to be worse. Sunscreen with a SPF of at least 15 should help prevent this.
