D.C. Madam commits suicide ***Update below*** Deborah Jeane Palfrey was found dead today at her mother's home in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Police were called to the home of DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey's mother on Thursday to investigate her apparent suicide. Police have confirmed that the dead person is Palfrey who was 52. Palfrey was convicted of money laundering, using the mail for illegal purposes and racketeering on April 15. She was to be sentenced July 24. The guilty verdict carried a maximum 55 year prison sentence. According to this report, she left a suicide note but police did not disclose its contents.
