Last Sunday, I did a most unlikely thing. I went to see someone deliver a PowerPoint presentation. On a Sunday. And it wasn’t raining. Usually, a sunny Sunday in The Bay is not something to be trifled with, but at Matthew’s urging, I went to watch the keynote address for this year’s San Francisco International Film Festival. The guest of honor was noted futurecaster and big-picture technology thinker of considerable esteem, Kevin Kelly. Kelly has a beard, but that would be the least of his achievements. He is probably most well known as the founder of Wired magazine.
