Chris Baker To Jets: 'I Want To Be Here'

Chris Baker has apparently had a change of heart in regards to his feelings about New York Jets management according to the NY Daily News. This off-season has been marred by public statements from the Jets tight end in regards to management's supposed back-door promises to re-do his deal. The riff got ugly when the Jets fined Baker for missing off-season activities. Baker has four years and $6.6 million left on his contract. He claims that the Jets front office promised to re-do his deal this off-season but then reneged on the offer. This again brought to light similar situations that happened to Pete Kendall (two years ago) and Laveranues Coles.
