Chocolate-Hazelnut Biscotti Recipe 10 May 2008 Author: danky In: Recipes Sue Shadley of Indianapolis, Indiana, says that the biscotti from The Bakehouse in Bloomington are addictive. These can be baked three weeks ahead and frozen, making them an ideal Christmas gift. Makes about 4 dozen. INGREDIENTS 1 1/2cups hazelnuts, toasted, husked 3cups all purpose flour 2/3cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1teaspoon baking soda 1teaspoon baking powder 1/2teaspoon salt 1cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature 2cups sugar 3large eggs 1 1/2teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2teaspoon almond extract 1cup semisweet chocolate chips DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350°F.
