Microsoft keeps Windows 7 moniker, unveiling soon... Microsoft on Monday officially dubbed the next version of its operating system Windows 7, the company reveals in its Windows Vista blog. Corporate VP of Windows Product Management Mike Nash notes that while Microsoft has used codenames during final product releases in the past, he believes this to be a first for Windows.
