Dailey & Vincent No surprise, this one: Dailey & Vincent garnering an International Bluegrass Music Association finalist nomination for Entertainer of the Year. It’s one of 10 IBMA awards the duo and their band are up for this year. The buzz about bluegrass’s new duo was already sizzling long before they made their debut performance last Dec. 29 at the Grand Ole Opry and then hit the road for the first time on Jan. 5. Both Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent had held prominent roles for several years with other contemporary high-profile bands — Dailey with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and Vincent with Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder.
