While at the hospital these past 3 weeks I have had more than one occasion when I have had to rip the head off a nurse or a doctor or a social worker or someone from the insurance company. I feel as if I have spent the better part of this month arguing with someone and advocating for my husband. Even on discharge I had to get in someone’s face. Thankfully we now just deal with the Cancer Institute where everyone is nice because their patients are really sick. I was complaining about it to Michael when one of the aides came into the room.
