MindManager is the leading developer of mind mapping software worldwide. Not surprisingly, an ecosystem of developers has formed around it, building add-ins that extend and enhance the program's functionality. Here are five of my favorite MindManager add-ins: GyroQ Often when I’m working, an idea will come to me. What can I do with it, so it won’t disturb the “flow” of the project I’m working on? One possibility is to store it in GyroQ, a desktop applet from Gyronix that makes it easy to capture ideas, fleeting thoughts and “to do” items quickly and easily, without having to open MindManager.

Mindmapping roundup
http://www.windowswatch.co.uk/2008/02/mindmapping-rou.htmlI like mindmapping; it's a great way of planning and, although it can be a bit hungry on screen space can help organise complicated projects relatively easily. There's a very useful list of add-ins for MindManager to be found over at the Mind Mapping Software Weblog. MindManager is by no means the only mind mapping program, but for versatility and sharing information with Microsoft Office, it's one of the best. There is a demo version available. A really big list of add-ins can be found at the Mindjet Partner Solutions page. An interesting aside on the Mind Mapping Software Weblog is a survey on why people find mind mapping helpful.
