Originally posted on 3.27.08 So long Remy Ma… The former Terror Squad member, real name Reminisce Smith, was convicted on four counts of assault today in New York State Supreme Court. Remy was found guilty of shooting a friend who she suspected of having stole $3000.00 outside of a nightclub on July 14, 2007. Jury deliberation begins this coming Tuesday. Remy faces up to 25 years in the clinker. UPDATE: Remy was sentenced to 8 years and her behind bars wedding to rapper Papoose was called off after a skeleton key of some sort (allegedly to unlock handcuffs) was found on his key chain when he attempted to enter Riker’s Island.
