Football: [Insert Title here]
http://www.football4less.com/blogs/cc/football-insert-title-...I’ll get the record straight from the outset. I don’t like Man Utd. I don’t like Chelsea. So you could say I really shouldn’t care who wins the League, I’ll hate them anyway, and you’re right, deep down I will. But as a football fan, I think it would be only right if United win the League. They have been dominant all season, putting together great performances. Chelsea have made a late run, and winning 20 games on the trot is no mean feat, but they just don’t deserve it (plus I think it will validate Avram Grant’s reign at the club - and I don’t want that). As usual the tussle to avoid the drop is the most interesting section of the table with 4 teams (Bolton, Fulham, Birmingham and Reading) that could get the chop from the top flight. Two of them will join Derby in The Championship next season with Birmingham and Reading the prime position, with Fulham and Bolton holding their own fates and their fates of their relegation threatened counterparts in their hands. It seems to be the case most years that come the last weekend there are a few teams that could face the drop, and that adds some degree of the excitement for the end of the season. But I would love to see the day when the final round of fixtures sees three or four teams in contention to win the title - that would be a neutrals dream. Now that I think about it, that dream would come second to seeing Leeds United lift the trophy (hey dreams are meant to be crazy). Go on lads - hammer Carlisle!!
