Radiohead will soon return to the studio to begin recording the followup to In Rainbows. It just won’t be before the start of their U.S. tour, as initially anticipated, since after all, it did kick off last night. In an interview with BBC Radio 1, guitarist Ed O’Brien revealed that the English natives will return to the studio following the last of their tour dates, which will be sometime in October. “Because by the end of the tour, you’re bored of what you’re playing. “You need more life and energy and the only way to do that is writing new songs.” Sadly for fans, O’Brien won’t be pushed on when the new songs are likely to be unveiled.
