Ştiri Ubuntu şi familia cresc în popularitate şi, evident, există destui care nu prea sunt „de acord” cu asta. Priviţi, de exemplu, acest articol cu privire la acest subiect. IBM DeveloperWorks vine cu un nou articol interesant: cum „vorbeşte” UNIX TCP/IP? Exemplele sunt pentru AIX. După cum a promis, VIA a lansat portalul Linux/Open Source prin care vor să interacţioneze cu comunitatea FOSS. Cei de la VIA au început să ofere driver-e pentru Ubuntu, şi vor extinde „oferta” în perioada următoare. Microsoft a lansat software pentru administrarea sistemelor UNIX/Linux. E încă în beta şi nu mi-am dat seama la ce foloseşte.
