Right. Hands up all those of you fed-up with Mike and Corey’s posts on tens of thousands of wood-warblers migrating through various parks and forests in New York. Anyone? Do I see a hand, any hand…just one would do…how about you sir, over in the corner? No? There must be someone…? I guess not - even I want more, so it’s hardly surprising - but I’m sorry, but I’m back to announce that you’re just about to get a post that has nothing to do with migrants, wood-warblers, or the US: yep, I’ve been on my travels again - this time to Johannesburg, South Africa, where every migrant worth his or her salt left for the northern hemisphere weeks ago… I’m (and not for the first time) digressing.
