Cops: ‘It’s Not Shia’s Fault’

Actor Shia LaBeouf was not at fault in the July 27 car accident that required him to undergo surgery on his left hand, says the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office. “He was not at fault,” said Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore. Detectives have determined that the other driver had run a red light while LaBeouf was making a legal turn, resulting in the collision. LaBeouf, 22, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after the crash.
