Asphalt Melting

I got one of the special shuttles to the Singapore Airshow and arrived just in time to get a peek of the A380 gliding extraordinarily low and slow in the sky - from the bus window. Didn’t see any of the jets though! You can’t really tell from the pictures just how hot and bright it was. There was like, an absolute excess of sunlight. A concrete desert with hoards of people and a flat horizon with an even flatter body of water by the airshow space. It was almost errie, and I’ve never needed sunglasses so desperately.
