GI Joe To Now Work For The UN Submitted by MichaelVail on Wed, 2007-10-31 05:10. Brussels foreign opinion polls GI Joe Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity Intellectual Osmosis Paramount Pictures patriot united nations United Nations War Machine America's battered international image has claimed a new casualty - the tough-talking comic book patriot GI Joe. The muscular character was created as a comic strip for US military publications during World War II and has been fighting America's foes ever since. But in a new film version, due to go into production next year, the all-American will no longer work for a covert US special forces unit.

Evil Knievel
http://cao2.wordpress.com/2007/12/02/evil-knievel/Evil Knievel December 2, 2007 by cao2 Evil Knievel died on Friday, November 30. He was 69 years old. I can remember his daredevilish adventures from the coverage of them on television. I never understood someone who would risk his life for foolishness. But this article explains it in a way that I can understand. he toughened up a generation of kids made soft by too much Brady Bunch. Awkward role model, leering boozehound, gravity-bound astronaut; the Patron Saint of Testosterone has finally caught Supreme Air. So please, show some respect. Now that GI Joe is morphing into something other than a Special Forces Soldier - he’s now a UN type World Police or some such rot…I look back at a man like Evil Knievel and wonder if there is a modern day counterpart, or if that softness that the reader refers to has finally settled in as a mainstay of our culture. Reasons to sell Wal-mart Stock and Buy Nintendo
http://palmsundays.blogspot.com/2007/11/reasons-to-sell-wal-...Wal-mart's stock surged today, but it can't be because of quality toys. Looking over the "Wish Book"ads for this year I cannot find a single thing that looks worth buying. Much of what is there is rehashed and worse than previous years. I can't bring myself to buy GI Joe since he fell under UN control. Barbie has gone from a fashion doll to something to stand on corners. Only the Wii looks like any fun -- if only I were not opposed to video games for sending so many boys adrift. Update: I guess they just don't make them like they used to (must see).
