RAF bomber crew re-united in death
http://www.abex.org.uk/ ?p=135
Two RAF airmen whose bodies lay buried in the wreckage of a Second World War bomber for 67 years were reunited with their comrades in a war cemetery yesterday. An RAF honour guard stood by as their remains were buried in Bergen, Holland. A four-man crew was aboard the Hampden bomber P1206 of 49 Squadron when it took off from Scampton, Lincs, on Nov 8, 1941. But the aircraft was shot down returning from a raid on Bocholt and crashed into farmland in Berkhout, northern Holland. The bodies of WO Chris Saunders, 28, and Sgt James D’Arcy, 26, were recovered and buried at Bergen after the war.
