HD DVD is canned, Blu Ray is now the only HD format

On the 19th February 2008, Toshiba announced that they're no longer going to manufacture HD DVD players, effectively ending the HD format war between themselves and Sony (makes of Blu Ray players). What does that mean for the consumer? If you own a HD DVD player, it's now effectively worthless. After 2008, don't expect to see any future movie releases in that format. If you don't own a HD DVD player or a Blu Ray player, there is now only one choice, Blu Ray.
