DRM redux
http://meditatinglibrarian.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ drm-redux.html
LISNews points to a post and campaign on the Defective By Design blog, Libraries: Eliminate DRM. Boston Public Library’s response to the initial action was well-written and well-reasoned (see my earlier blog post, DRM at the Boston Public (and other libraries), with BPL’s response included in the Comments ). I don't agree with some of the points made by the Defective By Design folks about DRM being "onerous and unethical", but I also haven't figured out what to say in response to them.
