The Ravine Flyer II at Waldameer Amusement Park and Water World opened yesterday to a large crowd. Seats on the very first ride were auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting the Northwestern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. About $7,500 was raised. And all weeekend long, $3.50 of the $4.50 ride cost will go to Juvenile Diabetes research. Mike's family and other Erie Bloggers are going to today to ride the new coaster.
