  Mischa Barton stripped down to jeans, a hat and a suggestive dandelion for the denim issue of Nylon magazine. Despite some bad career choices, with multiple movies and a handbag collection in the works, the new European has a lot to talk about. She even opened up about her DUI among other things. Here are some highlights: On her DUI arrest: "That was a low point for me. I never, ever would have thought I would be arrested. Like, it was one of those things that I never thought would happen to me, and I was disappointed because it associated me with a group of girls that I would rather not be associated with." On education: "I would want to go to college for the learning, but there's so much else that comes with that that I don't think I need anymore. I've been making my own money and living as an adult for far too long." On the difference between TV and movies: "In TV, actors literally ignore the directors, which I find wild. I couldn't understand that when I started on television. I'd always go to the director and ask him questions, and he'd look at me with a blank stare like, 'Why are you here?'" Hmmm, me thinks Mischa might not get any new TV gigs after that comment. As for her DUI, at least it looks like she learned her lesson.

At the event Mischa talked about her home for now, Paris, saying, “I love the art and the museums. So far I have been hanging out, really – going to art exhibitions, lots of museums. I’ll have my place there for about a year.” While Mischa enjoys her new life in Europe, we’re sure we’ll still be seeing a lot of her back stateside especially when her handbag collection launches next month.   We thought Mischa Barton was strutting her stuff in Cannes to gear up for a screening of her new movie You and I. Instead, after hanging out at the festival for a few days, she skipped the premiere and headed to London for Britain's Best 2008. Apparently she thought the movie was awful and didn't want to be involved with the promotion. The film is just one a few bombs that Mischa has been part of since The O.C., and while Assassination of a High School President got some love at Sundance, we want to know — do you think Mischa is ruining her own career? Source Is Mischa Ruining Her Own Career? Yes — She is picking awful projects and not even standing behind them! No — Hollywood is hit or miss, and she's just made a few mistakes.   Mischa Enjoys Cannes, But Lives in Paris May 16th, 2008 Mischa Barton has gowns galore on hand for her trip to Cannes — she’s been quite the red carpet queen for the beginning of the festival. Yesterday she posed with Lily Allen at the GQ Party for How to Lose Friends and Alienate People after the Nosebleed cocktail party. After this, though, it’s not back to LA for this starlet — she moved to Paris. She said, “I’ve just always wanted to move there.
