Your babies could be Orphans

Orphan Works bill is currently going throught the US government legislation. (Source) I am keeping an eye on this as it has a huge effect for photographers here in the UK. This essentially means that it is allowing people a legal way of using OTHER people’s images without having to credit or pay the photographer or artist. I honestly see this bill as giving a huge disadvantage to creatives and a huge degradation of existing artist rights. Essentially, Metadata won’t even stop ones image from being an orphan.
