A Question that Woke Me Up last Night - Does Federal Funding Breed Waste?

It’s amazing how many articles I have started and not finished because better question came to mind. I initially wrote two pieces for this week. One on population saturation in New Hanover County and another on the conservative argument FOR mass transit. I shelved them for one of those late night questions that woke me up after reading a lot of articles complaining about the new bus routes and the length of time required to get from point A to point B. I even mentioned this in one of my previous articles “Can We Create TWO Routes for Wrightsville Beach? “[1] “It took me nearly two hours to get from downtown on Market Street and 16th to UNCW on Monday,” said Shauna Cooper, a junior at UNCW.
