Poor, old Carlo Ancelotti. His AC Milan team are already out of the title race in the Italian Serie A and are actually fighting for a prized fourth spot in the table. There’s a good degree of probability that the Rossoneri might not make it to the UEFA Champions League next season through league positions and that implies that the only route for Milan to creep to Europe’s top-tier club football competition is by winning the trophy this season. But first, they need to get past Arsenal at the Emirates in the last 16, first leg tie at the San Siro on Wednesday and that wouldn’t be easy.
