I'm Going On, and I'm Sure They'll Have a Place For You Too...

I'm Going On, and I'm Sure They'll Have a Place For You Too... The Pistons completely Stole one from the Magic to take a 3-1 series lead. Even without Chauncey Billups, the Pistons managed to split the guard duties and contain Dwight Howard to only 8pts and 12 boards. Looks like there may be a few more changes to come in Orlando this off season to tweak their playoff hopes next year. The Celtics continued their HORRIBLE trend of losing every game on the road in these playoffs. Credit to the Cavs for continuing to shoot the rock and shoot well at home. LeBron still shot poorly from the field, but made up for it with 8 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. The series is now 2-1 Boston, and the playoffs TV schedule just got extended a bit longer! Mike D'Antoni took no precautions in securing his next city, opting for NYC. Just how Donnie Walsh sold him on the offer and bettered the Chicago Bulls is beyond me. It certainly wasn't about the money, the money would have been there for him regardless! It's certainly going to be one culture shock going from the Suns organization and locker room to the headcase institution that is Madison Square Garden! Much luck to you Mike, but not too much as now you're in the NBA East, you're enemies now! Bloomingdale's joins a growing list of retailers who are losing the catalogue and focussing on their online component. Not only are they saving paper, but the cost savings are enormous! Remember back when I told you about Target's Premium Eco launch (designed by Rogan) at Barney's Co-op? Apparently it went well. I like the whole "limit 3 pieces per customer" tab! Nick Hogan gets 8 months in jail, 5 years' probation, and a lifetime of shame! Whatchagonnado when you get a whuppin from the Hulkster brother?? There goes the Hulkster's run for Governor! In related streetracing news, Danica Patrick nailed a crew person from another team while heading into the pits at Indy. Ok, so all the late-night comedians are having a field day with this, but it certainly does not bode well for the Patrick camp. Recovery mode! Code Red! Damage Control!! Funny US Idol news, Jeff Archuleta, David's father has been banned from rehearsals and backstage at the show. It seems that he has been meddling and giving producers a hard time. The final straw was he changing of the lyrics to "Stand By Me" to include "Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston and incur additional costs to use the song. Why doesn't he stop changing the lyrics, and have his son actually remember the real lyrics instead?? Why is it that artists are always more popular after they die than when they're alive?? Poor Tom Thomson, I'm going to start back taking up my painting again...sometime. Sometimes I wonder if Video Game makers do this on purpose?? Objects of My Affliction: Skulls to the next level, My BFF brand Evisu comes correct!! In this case, retail giant, Target Corp. is teaming up with Rogan to produce an eco-friendly collection that will be showcased this weekend at Barney’s Madison Avenue store in New York City. It will then go on sale at the Barney’s in Los Angeles next weekend. Regardless of the reasons behind this collaboration, most consumers will be happy to see affordable designer clothes for a change.
