Before a couple of months of ago, I discovered that I was suffering from inguinal hernia. It is, also known as herniorrhaphy, is the surgical correction of an inguinal hernia. It is an opening, weakness, or bulge in the lining tissue (peritoneum) of the abdominal wall in the groin area between the abdomen and the thigh. The surgery may be a standard open procedure through an incision large enough to access the hernia or a laparoscopic procedure performed through tiny incisions, using an instrument with a camera attached (laparoscope) and a video monitor to guide the repair.
